How to get there?
To help you navigate, it might be useful to check Google Maps or download Jakdojade app on your Android or iOS smartphone. Both provide information about train, tram and bus routes in Kraków. Jakdojade also allows you to buy tickets for public transportation in most Polish cities.
PhD students can use 50% discount tickets on buses and trams in Kraków, but to confirm your status you need an ISIC card. Make sure to get one before travel.
From the airport
The easiest way to get to the hotel is to catch a train to Kraków Główny train station and follow the steps from the next section. You could also go with bus line 300 from Kraków Airport to Rondo Grunwaldzkie, and then catch tram line 18 or 52 to Norymberska.
Alternatively, you could get a taxi, either one of the official airport taxi services or Uber, Bolt or FREENOW, which are cheaper options.
From the Kraków Główny train and bus station
From the Kraków Główny station you can catch a tram line 17 (Czerwone Maki P+R). The stop is underground, two levels below the platforms. Alternatively, you can go to Teatr Słowackiego tram stop next to the train station and go with tram line 52 (Czerwone Maki P+R). In both cases you will leave at Norymberska tram stop after around 35 minutes.
